This truck looks good and drives very comfortably especially on the highway. Tires have 17k miles on them. The stereo rocks enough, I bought the pioneer and speakers new about 4 years ago. The cd player likes to not let you have your cds back sometimes so I quit using it. The interior is in ok condition, just few floorboard stains that could be cleaned, other normal wear and tear. Dash board is solid with a small crack. The driver side arm rest is completely missing. There is a small hole in the roof of the camper shell that has been caulked with silicon. One of the idler pullies may squeal from time to time and probably needs replaced. The air conditioning was charged two years ago and has now lost its charge. Definitely has a slow leak in the compressor. Heater works great! Also a few rusting areas in the usual places. Of course the camper shell tailgate window has lost its pressure which requires the use of a very handy elm stick to hold it up which I will include at no extra cost. Windows are in good condition with exception to some very tiny chips in the windshield. There is an exhaust leak that can be heard and the transmission may shift hard sometimes and it is very inconsistent and slips in lower speeds. The transmission, exhaust, and brakes will need to be worked on, to what degree you’ll need to seek a mechanic. This is still reliable, never had a breakdown, starts every time, and all the electronics (blinkers, washers, wipers etc.) work.
This has been a great truck for me but now gas prices are too much for such a truck. Despite the need for some work it still makes an excellent work truck around the farm and its overall external condition would make it a worthy vehicle to fix up a bit. Again a very smooth drive on the hwy about 16-18mpg. I do have a spare tire I’ll throw in that came with the truck but it’s probably too old to be real safe as a spare. It looks like its new but I wouldn’t trust it. At least you’d have the wheel that fit the truck.
