this vehicle 1980 ford f350 custom dually dump truck is being sold AS IS for PARTS ONLY it is not street legal has NO TITLE frame is rusted not sound to tow therefore upon purchase buyer must transport this truck on a trailer in accordance with new york state and any other applicable state laws .
condition is rusted with a carrier bearing that is about to fall out (see photos) passenger mirror broke along with rear passenger taillight, and side marker lights,headlights and dimmer switch on floor is frozen and may have other electrical issues. AND THE GAS TANK HAS BEEN BYPASSED TO A 5 GAL GAS CONTAINER(sits on pass side floor) DUE TO WORK ON FULE PUMP AND CARB. A NEW INLINE FILTER was installed
REMEMBER THIS TRUCK IS GOING ON 29 YEARS OLD! MILES ARE LOW BECAUSE IT WAS A NYS DUTCHESS COUNTY VEHICLE then sold to a landmowing co. it was last inspected and on the road according to the nys inspection sticker is 10/2003 It was given to me and used soley as a off road farm truck until the carrier barring went on it.
HOWEVER THIS IS WHAT I KNOW THAT WORKS AS FOLLOWS:
1. engine runs 4.9 L (300) 6 CYL FLATHEAD Q series made in canada
2.single piston- body goes up.. body goes down..
3 glass is in good condition no cracks
4. windshield wiper motor(wipers go to and fro needs blades)
5.interior not all that shabby rip in bench seat (see pics)
6.radiator has sticker part still on it- so i guess it was replaced not too long before i got it
7. horn even works!
It was hard to tell if the heater worked when i turned it on the outside temp. was 90 degrees- but yes air was blowing out of defroster and heater vents
