I am the second owner. My Grand Father was a IH dealer in Douglas Arizona and I inherited the truck when he passed. I did a frame up restoration of the truck in 2006 and spent over $30k not including my time. To see the pics from the restore, I have included a link. Click on the album named "Grumpy restore". I restored this as close to original as possible.
The engine and trans are rebuilt.
New white walls
All new electrical
New paint (Original factory colors)
Sound insulated
$2k in chrome work
CD player in glove compartment
YOM plates
Seat is 4 years old.
POR 15 on all under carage and cab floor
Trailier hook up for lights.
Still left to do as of posting:
Headliner
Wiper motor (it's rebuilt, I just have to install it)
Paint bed
Install heater
Arm rests
Connect air vents
Replace mat (Not too bad of shape and it has the "IH" molded into it, but ther is a hole where your heal sits to run the accelerator)
This is a strong running truck and a a real crowd pleaser. My brother inherited a travel trailer ( see pics of it at the link) and the truck has no problem towing the trailer. The trailer might be available too. This has been a labor of love but I have too many things I pull covers over and some of them have got to go.
