Overview 1966 International Harvester, ¾ ton, 2WD, straight 6 cylinder engine, 4 speed manual transmission, crew cab. Engine will start easily, runs well, little smoke. Idles strong. Gauges work (except oil pressure gauge). Relatively new starter, tires, shocks, points and clutch master cylinder. Brakes work adequately, but need service. Some of the lights work, but not all. All doors open and shut solid, but only from the outside, the interior mechanisms do not work; however all the handles are included. The two front windows do not open all the way, and the tailgate will not open, due to a dent from someone backing into a large object. The mileage on the odometer may or may not be correct, as it is a 5-digit odometer and it may have rolled over, but it says 41,500. This truck comes complete with a parts manual (all 900 pages of it, new) and a new owner’s manual. The Maryland title is good, and transferred into my name. Vehicle Condition Solid old truck, with good body metal. Hardly any damaging rust. There are a couple of cracks, rust-through points and dents in the metal, but nothing that can’t easily be fixed. It needs a new paint job, as the old paint is faded and scratched. The engine will start and drive easily. If you are going to drive it any significant distance, I would suggest a thorough tune-up. The headlights, brake lights and turn signals do not work reliably. The exhaust system needs replacing. The glass has several chips and cracks in it all around, and should probably be replaced. The heater and the wiper motor need replacement. Overall, this truck would make a great restoration project, and would be downright awesome if restored. I was hoping to do that myself, but I never got around to it. I know I am going to regret selling it. Terms of Sale Deposit 1/3 of sale price, due within 72 hrs. Buyer arranges shipping, if applicable.
